We decided to have a joint first (second) birthday party for Silas and Lucy. With their birthday's only 5 weeks apart it just made sense. We had their party on Saturday October 27th in Paintsville at the fellowship room at my parents church. The party was themed in Yo Gabba Gabba which was their favorite show at the time. They loved seing ballons with the characters on it.

We decided to just have a family party with all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We ate pizza first and then had the cake. We had practiced singing Happy Birthday with the kids and when they realized we were singing to them these big grins came across their face. They loved it!
Attempting to blow out the candles.
Ready for some cake. Silas picked up the whole piece and started to much away.
Lucy grabbed handfuls.
Then the kids got their first experience opening presents. They enjoyed playing with the paper. They also got to excited about one present they almost didnt want to move on to opening the next one.
They got a Yo Gabba Gabba boom box that was the big hit for the night. Silas carried it around everywhere and everytime the music started Lucy and Silas busted into dance.
